With effect from August 27, 2012, applicants seeking Indian Visas of all categories i.e. Tourist Visa, Entry Visa, Medical Visa, Business Visa, Student Visa, Employment Visa, Conference Visa etc. at High Commission of India, Pretoria are required to fill in the visa application Online as per the following procedure.
ONLY DULY FILLED ONLINE VISA APPLICATION FORMS WOULD BE ACCEPTED.

Please bring the printed application form to High Commission of India, Pretoria between 9.00 AM and 12.00 PM on working days with the following documents:
- Passport, having at least 2 blank pages and 6 months validity
- 2 recent, clear resolution coloured 2”x 2” photographs with white background [Instructions on standards are specified on site http://indianvisaonline.gov.in]
- Copy of South African ID or Birth Certificate
- Itinerary or copy of return Air Ticket
- Confirmed accommodation details in India
- Other documents as required for each category of visa, as can be ascertained from our website, https://www.hcipretoria.gov.in/page/visa-lesotho-requirement/ or by contacting the Mission.
Kindly Note :
- The application form may be filled without leaving any columns blank.
- Full physical address and P.O.Box No./telephone number may be provided at column C of the application form.
- Verifiable address in India may be provided along with the telephone no. and / or e-mail address at column E (places to be visited) of the application form.
- Please choose the place of submission i.e. High Commission of India, Pretoria carefully while filling up the form.
- It may be noted that there is no requirement for undergoing tests for HIV/AIDS status for visiting India or disclosure of such status.
