Job Description :

Prasar Bharati, India’s premier public broadcaster, is seeking a qualified and experienced Correspondent to be based in South Africa. The selected candidate will provide reporting services for DD India, DD News Channels, Akashvani and PB Shabd.

Key Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in Journalism or an equivalent qualification.

• Five years of experience in broadcast journalism.

• Fluency in English with working knowledge of Hindi.

• Proficiency in camera operation.

Desirable Qualifications:

• A keen interest in India-South Africa relations and current affairs.

• Experience of working in India/South Africa.

• Deep Knowledge of Indian culture & social-political landscape and media environment.
